Two Types of Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment in El Camino College Classes
Traditional college classes (on-campus and online)
Open to public, students register themselves to save their seat
K-12 students complete all Steps for Dual Enrollment and
purchase required textbooks/materials
Dual Enrollment in High School Partnership Classes
A.k.a. Dual Enrollment, Career Pathways, or Early College classes
Not open to public, just for students at local high school/district
K-12 students complete Steps 1-2 only, are manually registered by
ECC staff, high school provides textbooks/materials
